Online Harassment of Women LibGuide
This LibGuide was created in LIS 451, Online Searching for the Information Professional, in the Spring of 2016. Four fellow classmates and myself compiled this list of resources for those researching the harassment of women online. Writings about online harassment of women, as a social and political issue, most often appear on online forums, publications, blogs, etc. Academic journals are slower to publish writings about this topic. We took care to include established and credible online journalistic sources, like the Guardian and the Atlantic, but also include blogs and less well-known sites because important commentary and information can be found here as well. We also wanted to include resources that were accessible to all, not just those with access to academic databases.
